World Wrestling Entertainment’s “Money in the Bank” Premium Live Event comes to us this Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8 pm (Kick-Off at 7 pm) on Peacock TV. Here are who the experts on the Eastern Observer’s “Essential Wrestling Podcast,” sponsored by ProWrestlingPickem.com, are picking for this event.

Men’s “Money in the Bank” Ladder Match

SETH ROLLINS vs. OMOS vs. SAMI ZAYN vs. DREW MCINTYRE vs. SHEAMUS vs. RIDDLE vs. MADCAP MOSS

“That match (Riddle) had with Roman Reigns was the highest rated segment in WWE in a long time. They made his path hard, like Becky Lynch’s, to get to Money in the Bank. He had to lose to the Giant, Omos. So I’m going to pick Riddle. It’s the only way he’s going to face Roman again.” – Ryan Joy, MinutesToBellTime.com, EWP correspondent.

Pick: RIDDLE.

“When you do the math, Roman Reigns can hit 1,000 days (as Champion), and the winner of this can still be Mr. Money in the Bank. So I feel like whoever is going to win this will lose (the cash-in). How does Omos not win? I guess I’m going to go with Seth Rollins. I don’t know.” – John Smith, EWP correspondent.

Pick: SETH ROLLINS.

“I’m going to go with Riddle. I wasn’t going to, but I’m going to go for him cause I think they’ll play that underdog story.” – Gary Mehaffy, EWP correspondent.

Pick: RIDDLE.

“Going back months, I thought this would be Drew McIntyre’s for the taking. But the way this whole thing has unfolded where Riddle cant goes to Smackdown at all. This allows Riddle to show up on Smackdown whenever he wants. He can hang out with the briefcase and say, ‘I might cash in tonight.’ So yeah, I’m going to go with Riddle.” – John D’Aconti, EWP correspondent.

Pick: RIDDLE

Raw Women’s Championship

Champion BIANCA BELAIR vs CARMELLA

“I like Bianca winning. But I also like the idea of Carmella winning, then losing to the Money in the Bank winner immediately. So I’m doing it! Liv cashing in on Carmella!” – John Smith, EWP correspondent.

Pick: CARMELLA plus WOMEN’S MITB CASH-IN

“Girl….. Uh uh.” – Al Karl, EWP host.

Pick: BIANCA BELAIR

Smackdown Women’s Championship

Champion RONDA ROUSEY vs. NATALYA

“Props to Ronda for cutting a scathing promo on (Natalya). One of the few times Ronda had the mic in her hands, I was like, ‘Oooh! Ok!’ So give me Ronda retaining.” – John D’Aconti, EWP correspondent.

Pick: RONDA ROUSEY

“I don’t think it’s going to be Charlotte Flair. The only person I can see beating Ronda Rousey for that title is Shayna Baszler. And I hope we get to see that at some point on a big show.” – Al Karl, EWP host.

Pick: RONDA ROUSEY.

Women’s “Money in the Bank” Ladder Match

LACEY EVANS vs. ALEXA BLISS vs. LIV MORGAN vs. RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ vs. ASUKA vs. SHOTZI vs. BECKY LYNCH

“I’m going to go with Raquel Rodriguez with the Women’s Money in the Bank. I think they’re going to give her the opportunity, and hopefully, it fits.” – Gary Mehaffy, EWP correspondent.

Pick: RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ.

“It’s been tough. I’m looking at Lacey Evans; much attention has been paid to her. I’m looking at Raquel Rodriguez, and there’s a lot of attention on her. When I think about it, though, Becky is the only one that makes sense. The Smackdown women on the list aren’t going to be cashing in on Ronda Rousey cause they’re all ‘faces.’ On the Raw side, you have the same issue. You’ve got Asuka and Liv Morgan and Alexa Bliss. They’re not cashing on Bianca. So Becky is the only one that makes sense.” – Ryan Joy, MinutesToBellTime.com, EWP correspondent.

Pick: BECKY LYNCH.

“Liv Morgan, because they’ve been beating around the bush with her for so long, give her something to do over the summer.” – John Smith, EWP correspondent.

Pick: LIV MORGAN.

“I’m going to be rooting for Raquel because I think Raquel is who it should be. But it feels like the storyline here has got Becky winning the briefcase.” – John D’Aconti, EWP correspondent.

Pick: BECKY LYNCH.

“I did it last year. I’m going to try it again! I went with Liv Morgan. Signs go to Becky here, but Liv has been doing so well! She’s on TV every week, and she’s been shining! I’m going to stick with Jersey on this one. It’d be a fun moment of a Liv Morgan successful cash-in. I’m hoping Becky and Asuka cancel each other out. Like, they fight off into the crowd, and it goes to a five-woman match at some point.” – Al Karl, EWP host.

Pick: LIV MORGAN.

WWE United States Championship

Champion THEORY vs. BOBBY LASHLEY

“After all the work Bobby did to get into this match, I don’t see how he doesn’t win. But is Theory Vince McMahon’s boy? Is he not his boy? So half of me thinks he’s going to hold onto it because he’s Vince’s boy. I have to go, Bobby here. I didn’t think Bobby should have won the handicap match at the last pay-per-view cause you could rebuild him at any moment. But if he’s on the run, he did all this to get into the match, and I’m going to pick him here. New Champ.” – John D’Aconti, EWP correspondent.

Pick: BOBBY LASHLEY

“I’m going to go with Theory on this one, by hook or crook. I don’t think they’re taking that belt off him yet. And I don’t think Bobby should be getting ‘demoted’ to the US Championship.” – John Smith, EWP correspondent.

Pick: THEORY.

“I’ve been sitting here thinking about Roman being off / not on (Raw), so it makes the Raw Championship the United States Title. Give me Lashley here, and he’s going to carry Raw with that title at the forefront.” – Ryan Joy, MinutesToBellTime.com, EWP correspondent.

Pick: BOBBY LASHLEY.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

Champions THE USOS vs. THE STREET PROFITS

“Usos get the win here. Bloodline keeps the belts.” – Ryan Joy, MinutesToBellTime.com, EWP correspondent.

Pick: THE USOS.

“I think Roman needs to be around for when (The Usos) lose so Roman can ream them out for embarrassing the family. So if Roman’s not going to be around, then you’re not going to get that. So keep the Usos going.” – Al Karl, EWP host.

Pick: THE USOS.
