On the first loss of the season…
“You have to be able to shoot the basketball. We also turned it over [too much], and they’re a good defensive team. It’s going to be a lesson learned for these guys. Some of our key guys were in foul trouble. I thought, in the second half, we were settling a lot.”
On if he was expecting a physical game…
“I thought it would be. They get in the lanes and make you make plays. We had some shots, but obviously we didn’t get them to fall. Let’s give [Iowa State] the credit; they’re a good defensive team.”
