Islanders, Pulock avoid arbitration, agree a two year contract

Multiple sources have reported that RFA Ryan Pulock has agreed with the Islanders on a 2 year, $10 million deal, with a $5M AAV hit. While this solves one issue for Lou Lamoriello and his Islanders, there are still many questions left unanswered, the most important being the future of RFA Mat Barzal.

Hopefully, this is the beginning of great things to come for the Islanders remaining offseason.

He scored 35 points (10 goals, 25 assists) in 68 games last season and 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in 22 postseason games to help the Islanders reach the Eastern Conference Final.

Selected by the Islanders 15th overall in the 2013 NHL Draft, Pulock has scored 108 points (31 goals, 77 assists) in 234 regular-season games and 14 points (three goals, 11 assists) in 36 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
